English Regency Mahogany Collectors Drawers now on Custom Built Mahogany Stand
About the Item
English Regency mahogany set of nine drawers made for a collector. There are three vertical ranks of three drawers each, all finely dovetailed and graduated with the deepest at the bottom. This lovely collectors box is finished all around so it can stand freely in a room. Gerald W. Clarrage, Jr. at The Farm Antiques has custom made the stand for this box. The height can be reduced if desired at no cost. The drawers were made circa 1825. 36" wide x 9" deep x 27 1/4" high

- Condition:Additions or alterations made to the original: We have made a stand for the collectors drawers, they fit snugly into the stand without need for screws or attachments. The collectors drawers have not been changed or altered. Wear consistent with age and use. This piece is in beautiful condition and the stand just makes it more versatile so it can be used as a side table, in a hall, reduced in height for a coffee table, or behind a settee as a small sofa table when space is at a premium.
