English Victorian Cricket Table Spreckled by Ira Yeager
About the Item
Stunning country English victorian cricket table lacquer speckled by artist Ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). Crafted from mahogany with turned legs that are conjoined by large scrolled stretchers. The unique table or stool was crafted from mahogany and now has a modern lacquered finish in festive pumpkin orange over a black ground. Ira was fond of speckled finishes and framed most of his art borders with whimsical animal print style designs in bright colors. He painted furniture for his gallery to display along side the art works. Provenance: From the Yager Galerie Calistoga, CA. Perfect as a side table, end table, or drink table. San Francisco furniture retailer label on bottom.
