A good looking and decorative pair, each table has six famboo columns, famboo is basically known as "fake bamboo" in the 18th century when Chinese furniture started making its way to England, the great furniture makers like Chippendale started to reproduced the Chinese works using the materials they had to hand, so in order to make the bamboo affect they would literally carve it out of mahogany
The pair have been deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished, they have normal age and use related patina marks here and there, mostly they are in very fine order
