French 18th Century Louis XVI Period Mahogany, Ormolu and Marble Side Table
About the Item
A fine and very high quality French 18th century Louis XVI period mahogany, ormolu and marble tilt top side table. The table is raised by three elegantly scrolled legs with their original casters and a lovely beaded ormolu band. The circular tapered support display a beautiful fluted design. The original white Carrara marble top is fitted within an exceptional pierced wrap around ormolu gallery and flips up via its original mechanism.
