French 19th Century Louis XVI St. Napoleon III Period Onyx and Ormolu Side Table

About the Item

A beautiful and extremely elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Napoleon III period onyx and ormolu side table. The table is raised by a scrolled tripod shaped base with a lightly scrolled design and large acanthus leaves. The central support displays fluted and Fine foliate designs with a beautiful onyx reserve and striking scrolled acanthus leaf movements. Above is the original circular onyx top. All original gilt throughout.
