About the Item

An interesting French early 19th century side table from Brittany. Its smooth, polished rectangular top of two quarter sawn elm planks has a molded edge with rounded corners and sits above a single drawer with original brass ring pull. The apron stuns with hand carved dentil patterns that stretch around the entire piece which stands on turned legs that unite with shaped hand-carved stretchers. Truly an eye catcher, this table would be an excellent addition to any space. Be sure to view all the images to see the wonderful details of this antique dated circa 1820.
