French Moderne "Table Basse" Low Accent Table in Ash by Jacques Quinet

About the Item

Small, low accent table (table basse) in stained ash with round top supported by three solid rectangular legs designed by Jacques Quinet. The piece has been polished, not restored, and retains patina/light wear (stain loss to the edge along with a few small scuffs, as shown). Commissioned in 1965 from Jacques Quinet by the father of the original owner for his apartment which was part of the residence "Les Neiges d'Or" in the Alpe d'Huez. We have the corresponding nightstands from the same commission listed separately. Lamps/props used to illustrate small scale (H: 14" x Diameter: 23.5").
