French Provincial Custom Green Grange Triangular Table, Corner Console, France
About the Item
French provincial custom green grange triangular table, corner console, France. French corner table painted green with gold leaf striping, tapered and fluted legs, single drawer with squared bale handle. Dimensions: H 29.25" x W 30" x D 16.5" Grange Furniture was a furniture shop in Monts du Lyonnais, France that was established by Joseph Grange in 1904. The company continued to produce heirlooms using "old-world techniques" such as dove-tail jointing, hand applied wood stain and lacquer until 2018. Designs were "subtle updates" based on the "feminine shapes" used in 17th century chateaux furniture by André-Charles Boulle and Jean-François Oeben, or other furniture from historic Provence, France homes. Grange was the premier place to order authentic, custom "French Provincial" furniture for 115 years. I've included images of their former workshop in Lyon, France here as well. The furniture house went out of business in late 2018.
