George I Dressing Table

About the Item

Exceptional George I mahogany gentleman's dressing table or desk, the rectangular eased corner top over an ingenious arrangement of useful working and false drawers to front and one side, and including a brushing/writing slide, standing on square section legs with braganza ankles and feet. Superb quality timber and craftsmanship, and wonderful faded mahogany color. Works well as an end table for any room. English, circa 1720.
