A light and airy English 18th century mahogany spider leg table. Delicate single plank top over shaped aprons all around, standing on turned 'spider' legs. Turned 'H'-stretcher featuring attractive carved block joints. Fine quality and color.

An Italian wood trestle-leg table, with decorative forged-iron stretcher, from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy features a rectangular-shaped top, which is raised upon a pair of nicely-turned, trestle-styled legs (with a pair of turned wood stretchers supporting them at each side) and raised upon low-profile bun feet. The underside of the table is braced by a beautifully hand-forged iron stretcher, reminiscent of a bell or ogee arch shape, and is adorn with several disc and leafy shaped decorative pieces.
