About the Item

Marostica+Marostica side table is hand built using four distinct plaster-molded forms. These forms are altered and combined to shape the final piece. Part of the 'Break the Mold' project, the collection celebrates imperfections and highlights the tactile qualities of clay, ensuring that each table is truly one of a kind. The table is hand-signed and dated on the underside. Clients often pair the table with items like fruit bowls, candle holders, or lamps from the same collection to sit on top of the table. Custom color glazing is available upon request. Crafted in my grandfather's hometown in Northern Italy, this table holds a deep personal connection. Seventy years after his departure, I returned to Nove di Bassano to create my own clay forms. 'Break the Mold' aims to breathe new life into this historic town.

This is Brick #2—a vase molded and designed with uniquely torn openings, revealing the raw, natural texture of the clay. The imperfections and irregularities highlight the artistry and process behind its creation. Each vase is hand-signed on the bottom.
