Italian Early 19th Century 1st Empire Period Bronze, Giltwood, & Porphyry Table
About the Item
A stunning and very rare Italian early 19th century 1st Empire period giltwood, patinated bronze and Porphyry side/center table. The most impressive circular table is raised by fine square mottled patinated bronze feet below a superb wrap around fluted bottom tier with an elegant Coeur de Rai band. The lightly curved tapered supports display beautiful berried laurel designs, striking rosettes and impressive richly chased patinated bronze personages all below the thick spectacular Porphyry top.
