Italian Gueridon Foldable Side Table or Pedestal Table Napoleon III late 19th C
About the Item
Italian painted wood table made in the Napoleon III period.
The black and golden painting are typical of the style of this period.
The scene painted on the top represents a group of persons in a mediterranean-style street.
Marks of time on the varnish and few marks of use which make a nice and authentical patina.
Foldable table. This will be delivered dismanteled (top and pedestal)
Dimensions when folded:
D: 23.62 in. L 30.71 in. H: 45.67 in. (48 / 78 / 114 cm).
As you can see from the label, this pedestal table was made by a Genoese craftsman in Italy.
