About the Item
An attractive Italian mid 18th century neoclassicism cherry, Mecca and polychrome table from the Tuscany region. The table is raised by a triangular base with concave sides above Mecca finished bun supports. The central support in a wonderful and rich forest green polychrome finish has a half round Mecca band at the base and a feather like design at the center. The circular table has a tall frieze and a drawer with its original hardware. The cherry wood displays a wonderful and warm patina with beautiful veining throughout.
