About the Item

A charming and extremely elegant Italian 19th century Milanese st. ebonized Fruitwood and bone side table. The one drawer table is raised by delicate square tapered legs with fine inlaid bone fillets below rectangular bone inlaid block reserves. The straight apron displays one drawer at the front decorated with beautiful intricately detailed bone inlaid designs with beautiful scrolled foliate movements centering a lovely female mask. The sides and back display an elegant simple ebonized Fruitwood recessed panel framed within a bone inlaid fillet and mottled border. Above is the exquisite recessed top decorated with superb additional masterfully inlaid bone designs with a central urn with flowers flanked by stunning dragons framed within a mottled diamond shaped band and beautiful scrolled foliate designs with dolphins at each corner all protected under a fitted piece of glass framed in a stepped mottled border.
