Jacques Quinet Shelf-Table, Red and Black Leather

About the Item

Jacques Quinet (1918-1992) Rare metal shelf covered in red leather - France 1950-1960 Saddle stitch - Pique Sellier. Brass hardware. Two shelves covered in black leather on Dacron and wood. Can also be used as a table. This shelf table is very sturdy. H 27.2 in. x W 24 in. x D 16.5 in. Height of the upper shelf: 20" Provenance: Parisian hotel where we also acquired a very large set of chairs, lamps, tables by Jacques Adnet, all in original condition. Some pictures are showing this shelf with a Floor lamp by Jacques Adnet and a painting by Colette Gueden. We also have a picture of this shelf/table in its original condition in the hotel. In the past, this side table-shelf-luggage rack has been attributed to Jacques ADNET.
