With Lato, Nichetto wanted to keep the simplicity and streamline into a timeless side table in a style that could easily be the center of attention.

Designer
Luca Nichetto
Luca Nichetto is an Italian designer who operates from his offices in Italy and Sweden. A graduate of IUAV, the Venice University Institute of Architecture, Nichetto founded his multidisciplinary practice in Venice in 2006 where he merges classic ideas with a contemporary language and distinct personality.
With an affinity for creative collaboration, Luca Nichetto works with designers from around the globe to craft compelling concepts, specialising in industrial design, product design and consultancy. Nichetto’s portfolio is comprised of works that display a natural exuberance and playful expression which are reminiscent of the Murano glass-making industry that shaped his formative years as a young designer, as well as embodying the Swedish spirit of modernity and sustainability.
“I think the future is in sharing,” says Nichetto. “It’s much more powerful than being alone. It’s about being open to other perspectives. The best results come when there’s 50 per cent of each.”
