Little Top from the Revolve collection - Graphic forms of this pedestal-based collection are turned by hand, a technique often reserved for embellishments on legs, spindles, candlesticks, and other cylindrical parts or products. This collection, however, strives to work with little to no embellishment. A simple graphic form is created which both contrasts and glorifies the natural figure of the wood itself.

Michael javidi design
Michael Javidi is a multidisciplinary craftsman whose training at the North Bennett Street School’s furniture making program prepared him for a career of wooden boat building. Drawing from his experience as a shipwright and furniture maker, Michael launched Michael Javidi Design in 2019. His work draws from his multitude of experiences, focusing on building intuitively. Organic in form, the pieces strive to balance beauty and comfort, function and form.
