Louis XV Table de Chevet

Bedside or chairside, a provincial Louis XV period 'table de chevet' with shallow side drawer. Hand-grasp side cut-outs facilitate portability and placement. Remarkably lightweight but structurally sound and steady. Attractively 'worm-holed' with a well polished patina. We simultaneously offer a 'table a ecrire' of the same period and proportions. Together they constitute a very decorative unmatched collector's pair; for each side of a bed, or at opposite ends of a sofa.
