Louis XVI Style Buffet Marble Bronze Ormolu Sideboard
About the Item
Extremely rare and one of a marble and bronze buffet. Outstanding design is exhibited throughout. Just look at the gorgeous curves on this beauty! A handsome French 19th century Louis XVI st. buffet. The rounded side buffet with two top doors and three bottom drawers is raised on tapered feet. The two central paneled doors with ormolu keyhole escucheons, are flanked with reeded columns and open to reveal an interior shelf. At the frieze are two rounded drawers at the sides and a central drawer. The marble Top buffet ~ credenza represents the essence of understated elegance, and is perfect for a wide variety of placements in your home or office! It can work behind a large sofa, as a credenza in the office, to support a huge flat panel TV, or serve as a nice cabinet and display/serving surface in any room,. The neoclassical architecture features generously rounded ends to lessen even more its impact on traffic patterns in the room. To top it off~ a contoured and beveled luxuriously veined marble for carefree daily use! Its bold and striking, the piece can be in an interior setting or capture the eye in any environment.
