Louis XVI Style French Mahogany Gueridon Bouillotte Table for Restoration
About the Item
French Louis XVI style bouillotte table with gilt patinated bronze trim, scrolling bronze mounts around the apron, resting on three fluted straight legs that are conjoined with a stretcher and center finial while resting on three cabriole legs with bronze mounts (missing one). The round table is surmounted with a rose` marble top.
Dimensions: 18" W x 30" H
Condition: Please see detail photos. Restoration recommended. There are various signs of age and wear including loose joinery, losses and dulling to marble top, missing one bronze mount at foot, old glued repair to rectangular wood applies with bronze flower, minor losses and several stable cracks and slight losses to marble. Despite the aforementioned the table displays in a quintessential French manner.
