Maison Jansen Influenced Black Marble + Twisted Iron Side Table
About the Item
This elegant Empire-inspired gueridon side table created in the style of the most desired and famed makers Maitland Smith and Maison Jansen. The round top is crafted from tessellated black marble and features a beautifully carved mosaic ring in dusty sienna brown, offering a striking contrast with its richly veined pattern. The intricate stonework is refined and visually brings attention to the objects set out for display.
The hand-forged wrought iron base features gracefully curved legs, twisted detailing, and subtle spherical accents. Its speckled finish adds texture, while an acorn finial at the center provides a classical touch. Solid and well-balanced, the table was produced in the Philippines circa 1990 and retains its original production sticker on the underside. A classic and versatile piece.
