About the Item
Inspired by antique perfume vessels, the Margaret Side Table highlights the playful dichotomy between art and function.
Handcrafted in our Atlanta studio, this side table is crafted from a wood base and delicate plaster and paint mix. This modulation of geometry being soft yet bold reflects that of perfumery designers in the 1890s. The Margaret acts as a functional art piece and is perfect for any living room or bedroom side table. Each piece is made to order and is available in white, black, cream, or custom colors.
Brent Warr Studios founder Brent Warr was raised in Georgia, USA and studied at Auburn University’s college of Architecture, Design, and Construction. Before moving to the back to Georgia to start his furniture and lighting studio, he moved to NYC to work for esteemed Interior and Architecture firms Meyer Davis Studio and Yabu Pushelberg.
Now located in Bainbridge, Georgia, Warr’s furniture, lighting, sculptures, and interiors projects are defined by a studied balance of fluidity and structure, composition and function. His practice is both intuitive and informed by an understanding of history, process, and materials. Above all, Warr’s guiding principles are humor and storytelling. Brent Warr has been featured in Interior Design Magazine, Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, and Vogue Living to name a few.
