Marquetry Side Table, Austria, late 18th century

About the Item

Side table with rectangular table top and tall tapering legs. The marquetry on the table top forms a central medallion with rosette and continues with brand-shaded decorative elements such as implied fluting and pearls. The frame houses a drawer with a round wooden knob. The table is veneered in cherry and polished by hand.
