Mid Century Modern Small Square Side Table Teak with White Laminate Top

About the Item

Lovely Mid-20th Century Mid Century Modern small square side table comprised of a teak frame and a white laminate top. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, it has been disassembled, sanded, reassembled, cleaned, and lacquered. There are light water stains at the feet that would not come out. They are not very noticeable. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century. Sometimes you need a little side table that will go just about anywhere… you know? Much like that “little black dress.” Your “go-to” … just the right fit … and looks incredible wherever it goes. THIS is that table!!! We have a fabulous small side table comprised of a GORGEOUS square teak frame with lower side stretchers on one side while the opposite side bears gold plastic highlight strip details on the lower edges, and a lovely square white laminate top resting upon two cross bars which gives a floating effect to the tabletop. It is a subtle but oh-so-stunning detail!! This table delivers such a wonderful style enigma somewhere between Mid-Century Modern to Scandinavian Modern. Because of the teak frame it gives a little Danish feel but that sneaky strip of gold detail on the sides leads us to believe it’s American made… but unfortunately with no tag or markings we were unable to locate the exact maker… NO MATTER!!! Its magnificence speaks for itself!!! Bearing such a clean and classic appearance, it will be wonderful beside a lounge chair in your living room adorned with magazines, hosting a plant between two side chairs in the family room, or as a place to set your book in the sitting room. Its smaller size makes it very convenient to move from place to place and it has versatile style that will blend in with many decor preferences. Plus, you can sit your coffee or cocktail on it without worry with that laminate top! We just ADORE this little gem!! It’s simple, it’s sleek, it’s stunning, and it needs to be YOURS!!! Handsome pair of square Mid-Century Modern to modern Parsons style side tables or end tables comprised of a rectangular chrome tube frame with a white painted cane and glass insert top. They are in wonderful vintage condition. We have given the cane insert a fresh coat of paint and chrome has normal wear for age but nothing outstanding. Please see photos, circa 1960s-1970s. When I saw this lovely pair of little side tables I knew I had to have them to offer to you. I know you have just the spot to place them. They are square and Parsons style with frames made of rectangular chrome tube which is nicely welded and polished. They have a white cane and glass insert for the top. I have seen these attributed to Milo Baughman, but I do not believe that to be true. However, they are somewhat in his style with the combination of the chrome and cane. No matter who designed or made this pair they are handsome and handy little end tables. Place them side by side as a small cocktail table or split them up. They are the perfect spot to set a drink while relaxing in your favorite chair or napping sofa...
