'Monarch' is a vintage butterfly pietra dura table. An English, heavy decorative marble piece by the renowned sculptural artist, Dominic Hurley.
A one-of-a-kind vintage work in very good order throughout
Beautifully arranged stone depicting a monarch butterfly resting upon a sunflower
Presented upon a substantial white marble circular base with tapering plume of feathers scrolls
Striking table suitable for use indoors or within the ornamental garden
Monarch butterfly comprises Belgian black and Jasper for the body and wings respectively
Sunflower realised in Sienna with Purbeck used for the leaves
Set within Statuary marble background and encased in Belgian green
Dominic Hurley's signature to the reverse in gold script
