We are delighted to offer for sale this very rare original circa 1880 English Scholars stack of books side or coffee table with large internal storage.
A very rare example, companies have been copying this design for decades, this is an original, I have only ever seen one other in my working career. The piece comes complete with the original finish inside and out, the top looks like a fossil marble or burr timber, it is sublime!
Condition wise they look and feel every bit of their age, we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom.
