Original Red Painted Farm Table With Drawer, Sweden circa 1820-40

About the Item

This delightful pine farm table comes from the Swedish countryside. The original faux wood painted finish was the traditional style of the era (almost 200 years old). The original folk art painted finish is a combination of brick red and black which creates the "grain" appearance. Single deep drawer with wood pull. Floor to drawer height: 22" Restored, this side table is strong, stable and ready for use. Any scratches, cracks, nicks, or age related separation (drawer bottom) are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special accent table. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed. With over 37 years of experience selling European antiques, our brick-and-mortar storefront, Round Top Ranch Antiques (located in Texas) offers one of the largest curated selections in the nation with over thirty-five thousand square feet of inventory to choose from.
