Original Red Painted Side Table from Sweden, circa 1820

About the Item

The paint is all original on this pine side table with tapered legs from Sweden. The decorative carved/lattice skirt (along all 4 sides) in red and green compliment the brick red base with blue trim. While the top is natural pine, the residual painting of a flower is still seen in the center. Generations of use are seen in every stain, scratch, crack and separation of the three planks that compose the top. See photos for details. Restored, this table is strong, stable and ready for use. It's small size allows it to be used as a side table, nightstand, or small writing desk. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
