About the Item
This delightful pine side table comes from the Swedish countryside and still maintains the original blue painted finish with monogram and date of 1850 in white.
Exceptional fluted detailing along the sides, front and drawers, combine with the worn original painted finish and aged patina which make this table a special find.
Unique to this table is the top which opens to reveal hidden storage. Two drawers have contrasting faux marble painted finish.
The top reveals generations of use in every stain, scratch, crack and other signs of distress.
Restored, this side table is strong, stable and ready for use. Wax finish.
All scratches, cracks, nicks, stains, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this special Swedish table. Wear and distress are seen to the painted finish throughout (including legs), which is reflective of 175 years of use.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
