Outstanding George II Mahogany Lowboy/Side Table

About the Item

An outstanding and superior quality mid 18th century magoany lowboy of delightful small proportions and perfectly balanced. This spectaular piece with crisply carved decoration represents the height of English Georgian craftsmanship and would have been supplied by one of the top cabinet makers of the day. It remains in glorious 'untouched' condition and has a richly patinated surface and great depth of coolour. An exceptionally rare item, surely one of the finest mahognay lowboys ever seen.
