Pair Early 20th Century French Carved Oak Turned Leg Demilune Side Tables
About the Item
These elegant antique demilune side tables were created in France circa 1920. Built of oak, each table stands on four turned legs ending with bun feet, and connected with a sturdy stretcher at the bottom. The surface is dressed with a half moon shape top, embellished with ogee edges, over an arched apron. The occasional tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina. Versatile, they could be used as small tables holding a plant, or occasional seating as counter stools in a kitchen nook.
