Pair of 18th Century French Louis XIII Carved Oak Four-Leg Side Tables
About the Item
This elegant antique side tables were created in Normandy, France circa 1780. Built of oak and attached with pegs, each piece stands on four turned legs connected with a sturdy stretcher at the bottom. The top surface is curved across the front. The Louis XIII style country occasional tables are in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn a rich walnut patina with lots of character. Versatile, they could be used as a small plant stand, or as counter stools in a kitchen nook.
