About the Item
Beautifully hand-turned and handcrafted pair of contemporary white English ash side tables in a modernist design. Wonderful form and scale. This is a bespoke piece of fine quality, handmade by our craftsman in London using solid English Ash. Finished in durable oil. Felt pad feet for hardwood floor protection.
These are all completely handmade, in very small numbers, by our skilled craftspeople in England.
We design bold and distinctive pieces of furniture – our main objective is combining the design alongside the natural beauty and properties of the raw materials.
These timbers and materials are very carefully chosen for each specific design - maintaining our focus on the benefits, visual impact and strengths of what we use.
Our regular use of English quartersawn Oak is one case in point. It has been the beloved timber of fine furniture makers across the world for centuries. It is fairly time consuming and costly to produce but gives huge benefits and rewards such as its striking medullary rays and superb stability qualities.
By utilising these wonderful and naturally occurring features with our contemporary designs we aim to continue creating some very distinct, tactile and idiosyncratic pieces.
