Pair of French telescopic Guéridons attr. to Maison Toulouse

About the Item

A pair of fine French gilt-brass telescoping occasional tables , with white round marble top and pierced gallery on an adjustable shaft with cabriole legs and pad feet, model created by and attributed to Maison Toulouse. Note ; The prestigious Maison Toulouse specialized in the manufacture of high-end decorative brass and ormolu furnishings and objets-d'art during the second half of the 20th century. Its list of clients included the most discerning taste-makers, such as Hubert de Givenchy, Baron de Rédé and the most prestigious international clients . For the record , a similar pair of such tables , offered at the Givenchy Collection sale held at Christie’s in June 2022, under lot#179, sold for more than €40k.
