About the Item
A very good quality matched pair of French Kingwood veneered ormolu-mounted side tables, each with wonderful hand painted Sèvres style porcelain plaques depicting romantic scenes set on a green ground. The lids hinging open to reveal velvet lined interiors. Raised on elegant tapering cabriole legs with shelves beneath, terminating in scrolling ormolu feet.
