A Pair of Pine Bedside Tables Erik Höglund for Boda Trä

About the Item

A pair of pine bedside tables designed by Eric Höglund for Boda Trä and likely to have been manufactured during the 1960s-1970s. The pair were once part of a larger suite of bedroom furniture by Höglund, which included a bed-frame with a small mirror at the head, and a pair of enlarged wooden footprints at the end of the bed, a playful detail evocative of Höglund’s designs in glass during the 1950s, such as his ‘people’ decanters. The bed-side tables subtly share the playful quality of the bed, echoing its squat dimensions and wide legs.
