About the Item
Pair of natural round stone coffee tables or side tables, in marble travertine and green alpi marble, blend of minimalism, geometric abstract art, and popular art, suited for interior and exterior use - indoor outdoor.
Fusion of elements from Afro-Brazilian popular and religious culture with abstract geometric forms; Origine coffee table was exposed into Sp-Art 2023 International Arts Fair, and exposed into Vogue review design gallery in São Paulo.
Origem - Origin, is a personal tribute to our Uncle and the melting pot of our Franco-Brazilian cultures that originate ("ORIGEM" ) our artistic career. It results in a blend of minimalism, geometric abstract art, and popular art, referencing wellknown Brazilian artists like Rubem Valentim.
The coffee table balances statement details and minimalist forms. Their formal rationalism reveals the beauty of soft and natural textures and authentic quality. The stone is left at its most soothing to the touch, natural, as it presents itself after receiving its first finishing cuts.
The creative process is a personal story. It started with the L marble piece designed by Juliana's Uncle, Felipe, who was also an architect and inspired her artistic career. Around this L that sustains the coffee table, we strive to add the minimal material that brings the maximal effect and identity, using our references, stretching from minimalist and artisans to primitive art, resulting from our cultural experience between our two lands, Brazil and Europe.

Atelier BAM
Atelier BAM Design is a young Brazilian-French design team based in Sao Paulo and Paris. It’s formed by two designers and architects: Juliana Bertolucci, from Brazil, and Clément Gérard, from France. After working in international offices in Brazil and in France, the two partners starting working together in 2011. Inspired by Brazilian Design masters and contemporary art, Atelier BAM Design characterizes itself by a precise work where the process has primordial importance in the project. With their work, BAM was a finalist of several prizes of Design and Architecture award and reached the attention of National TV and foreign design magazine.
