A pair of Swedish Neoclassical style painted wood side tables from the late 19th century, with carved Greek Key friezes, tapered legs and rosette motifs. Created in Sweden during the last quarter of the 19th century, each of this pair of side tables features a rectangular top sitting above an elegant apron adorned with a carved Greek Key frieze surrounded by beaded motifs. Raised on tapered legs with fluted accents and elongated rosettes on the knees, the tables are painted in a soft color typical of the Scandinavian taste for light palettes. Boasting a nicely distressed patina, this pair of Swedish Neoclassical style side tables circa 1880 will make for a great addition to any living room, hallway or foyer!
