Petite Glass + Lucite Side Table by Les Prismatique, 1980s
About the Item
A petite 1980s side table by Les Prismatique, where Art Deco influence meets minimalism. Three lucite columns rise from a weighted clear base, supporting a cantilevered glass top with a polished edge. The transparency plays with light and shadow, creating an almost weightless presence. Stamped ‘Les Prismatique’ along the base.
Les Prismatiques, founded by Ralph Gambaro in New York, gained recognition for its innovative approach to furniture design and materials during the late 20th century. Gambaro pioneered the use of colored acrylic, lucite, and other unique materials in his furniture collections.
Condition: In good vintage condition, with minor scuffs and scratches throughout. The glass top is removable.
