Philip and Kelvin Laverne Bronze Figural Side or End Table, Signed

About the Item

A rare side or end table made by famed father and son artist duo Philip and Kelvin Laverne. A functional piece of art made from patinated bronze and pewter. It features eight different and unique human subjects in high relief ranging from a gatherer figure to a battle-ready warrior. We consider this to be a unique offering because we have not seen another table quite like this. The Lavernes' were known for their innovate approach to creating art and furniture. This table is a perfect representation of that. Sure to be a converstaion starter. Suitable for a variety of decor styles. Could be used with a glass top if desired.

    Wear consistent with age and use. All original. A few faint water rings on top. Two small scratches as pictured (possibly original). Plastic feet were added previously. Presents very well; ready for use.
