"Pompom" stool, orange glittery resin and trimmings
About the Item
The Pompom is the result of a collaboration between Uchronia and the Prelle silk factory to coincide with the "Waving Silk" exhibition in January 2023. This stool is made exclusively in France from passementerie resin.
The glittery orange resin top of the stool reveals the passementerie base. The passementerie, made by the French workshops Passementer-Verrier, echoes the designs of Prelle's "St-Pierre" fabric. It represents the gardens of the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Lyon, where Prelle was born.
