A Rattan Glass Top, White Coffee / Cocktail Table, Heywood Wakefield Company

About the Item

An Art Deco Rattan glass top coffee / cocktail table, circa 1929, American, attributed to The Heywood Wakefield Co. of Gardner, Ma. This piece of rattan is also known as stick wicker and described as modernistic in their 1929 Furniture catalogue. The cocktail table is in excellent condition and done in a white painted finish with a wooden top surface also in white and in very good condition. The glass top is decorated with an etched style Sea Horse / Sea Life design and is also in beautiful condition. It is shown here with blue fabric beneath the glass which helps to show off the design and is easily replaced to match any surroundings.It is also shown with no fabric. The cocktail table is shown in photo with matching Demi lune tables, sold separately. See the Listings. Additional coordinating pieces available: 1.
