The form of this rosewood circular table with delicate fretwork and graceful legs is rare and worth a second look. The outstanding feature aside from the design details is the dark cherry-colored patina that can only come with age. The wood tone is mesmerizing. This table is from the mid 20th Century
Of circular section with inset top, raised on five square section legs with pierced returns, joined by a circular stretcher. Unmarked. There is a condition issue at the base of the table--previous repairs that were made to the inside of the base. There was a two-inch area that has been repaired. This beautiful piece is vintage, but it presents extremely well.
