Spontaneity, environmental awareness and the primeval nature of the materials are central themes explored in Found II collection, which focuses on the power of the medium to dictate the final form these functional works of art take. Side table No.3 from the Found II collection is one of 14 one-of-a-kind objects that were cut from a single piece of 10"-thick stone. Perfectly polished marble surface on one side is juxtaposed with the naturally rough surface on the opposite side of each object, reminiscent of the mountains that the stone came from.

A Space

A Space is a New York-based design & art studio co-founded by an interior designer Anna Aristova and a graphic designer Roza Gazarian in 2016. Their one-of-a-kind functional art pieces are an attempt to bring in the timeless beauty of nature to contemporary lifestyle, whether it’s functional furniture or a decorative object. The essence of each of their creations is a sense of a vast open space, where ideas, thoughts or feelings spontaneously arise and evolve through experimentation and play. Their work is a constant balance of opposites -- improvisation and thoughtful planning, intuition and knowledge, organic and geometric, timelessness and impermanence.
