About the Item
Mid 20th Century in a hexagonal shape side table made in TARACEA
Granada, they have a lot of Moorish influence.
La Taracea is to Granada, as is the Alhambra
Granada preserves its customs very well, both the Granada ceramics, the inlay and the charming lamaras and lanterns. They resemble their neighbors on the other side of the Mediterranean, but they are not the same, Granada has its own peculiarities although it has Arab reminiscences, in Granada there are many more influences than the Arab one, there is also the gypsy influence, which influences its entire feeling.
This leads to an arched frieze of temple design. The turned legs are supported by a star embedded in the base.

They are typical of Granada, Spain, but it is true that the connection of Andalusia and especially Granada with the customs of Arab origin due to its already distant past but that left so much of an imprint on the customs, but especially on the decorative arts. These tables were originally made with bone and different types of wood. The most modern ones already have a less artisanal manufacturing
These tables are from the mid-20th century and are in perfect condition, with no flaws or apparent deterioration.
The 2 tables would look great in the same space, but they are also perfect individually, to function as a coffee table, auxiliary table, end table or for whatever function the person who buys it wants to give it, they could even be night tables.
