    A Czechoslovakian side table by Jindrich Halabala, circa 1930's. This antique side table from the former country of Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic, features a square-shaped top with rounded edges, which is raised upon four curved legs (which gives this style it's "spider" name). The walnut top contrasts nicely against the darker stained beech wood legs. There are some slight areas of wear and patina, primarily along some of the edges, typical for a piece of this age.
