Small Antique French ROUND Center Side TABLE Barley Twist Renaissance Carved Oak.
Direct from France, this SUPER PETITE size round side table, ornately adorned, with an impressive silhouette and design. The beveled edge round oak top and apron are supported by elegant barley twist legs with distinctive toupie feet.
All four ‘sides’ of the wide round apron feature finely hand carved dimensional French flowers amidst carved French scrolls and swirls. A barley twist cross stretcher with large, surmounted turned finial completes the stunning silhouette. Solid oak, well built by craftsmen of the period, c1890.
In today’s home this table would make a statement in any room, and placement is easy, as it can “float” in the middle of your room because there’s no “backside”.
