About the Item
Handcarved pine wood smokers stand / occassional table. Spain, 1940s.
This beautiful wooden table features a floor ashtray with an additional shelf to use as drinks table or coffee table.
Rare find.
The tabletop in squared shape holds the ashtray, with 4 metal cigarrete holders and carving details on the sides. It is supported on a turned twisting wood stem on a rectangular base with scalloped details that is supported on four legs. The drinks shelf in the middle shows carved details and metal studs.
This table has a rustic finish and spanish colonial accents.
It will be a nice choice to a countryside or cottage house adding a spanish taste to or any classical, contemporary or rustic decoration.
Minor wear commensurate with age and use.
Use it as side table, end table or coffee / cocktails table, smokers table or occassional table for parties arround your sofa.
