A beloved Uhuru piece, the Stoolen is crafted from black oak offcuts that are carefully hand-fitted into a unique pattern. The Stoolen works well as an end table, stool, or coffee table. Originating from the necessity for materials, our exploration began with readily available resources. The Stoolen's story began by repurposing discarded wood offcuts, turning remnants into a timeless design that has remained an integral part of our collection from our beginnings.
The Stoolen is featured in the cafe lobby of the New Museum, in downtown NYC.
